my transmission is making loud whiny noises that i think it's too loud to be normal? when stopped, if clutch is pressed, the noise go away which makes me think that it has a lightweight flywheel but when accelerating, the whiny noise is loud.

also, it feels hot inside the car where the shifter tunnel is.

 

From what I've read. Change the fluid stat.
