Thanks man....I think I'm gonna stick with the tried and true Tokicos, and I'm definitely leaning more towards the RSR Downs in titatnium...aparantly they are a lot lighter and offer a slightly better ride than the standard RSR Downs. My only concern I guess is that it seems that the RSR downs drop the car significantly more than the eibach's and from what I understand, the lower the drop, the more potential for a rougher ride, but if Mahjik recommends it, I tend to truly respect his opinion. I just don't want a back-breaking ride, y'know?

Mahjik....do you have any knowledge on the difference between the standard and the titanium RSR downs?

I don't know much about their titanium version of those springs. From the specs, it just seems the difference is going to be weight and corrosion. To be honest, I'm not sure those are issues enough to spend the extra $100, but that's up to you.

As far as the ride quality, that has more to do with the damper than the springs. If you use a quality damper (shock) with a good range of adjustment, the ride quality won't be an issue.

The Tokico HTS (D-Spec) Shocks are their new design. I believe these will start replacing the Illuminas as they move forward.

Thanks for all your info & help Mahjik....I'm going with your recommendation of the RS*R Down Springs (non-titanium)

Just ordered them from turboimport.com and looking forward to installing them next week!

Tokico Illuminas - I also ordered new front strut mounts

Do you know of any good write-ups on how to change the shocks and springs out (or should I leave this up to my mechanic for a few Hundred bucks?)

Mahjik,

I just wanted to thank you for all your help with choosing my suspension setup. As per your recommendation, I ordered & installed the RSR downs and they look awesome and feel great!

Thanks for your wealth of knowledge,

Ian
