Where should I install BOV. Greddy VMount

Hi guys I have a Greddy vmount I'm installing and I'm not sure where the BOV should be welded on. I'm running stock twins setup. Actually almost everything stock right now until I get the V Mount installed. Right now I have a flange welded on to the pipe that comes right after the one connected to the throttle body which I think is right. Just a little concerned because I don't know a whole lot and I think the stock BOV is on the complete other side of the bay hooked up to the turbo outlet. So not sure how it works with the addition of the new one. Should I just remove the old one and the hose. And do I need to do anything to the turbo outlet? Sorry if this isn't clear. I can take pictures if you need me to. Thanks guys.

Really, the stock BOV's with the stock twins do great - they don't leak, they flow plenty enough air, and they are small and compact. The only reason for an aftermarket BOV with the twins is to make a sound, that's it. And, really, if you vent the stock BOV's they make noise as well.

That said, if you want to use an aftermarket BOV, it really doesn't matter where it goes. I once had a chance to sit down and talk to Corky Bell about this, it's truly a case of packaging, wherever you can fit it and it looks good.

THanks Dale. I will be upgrading at some point and I just wanted to get this out of the way and I figured why not upgrade my BOV with the addition of my new V mount. Right now I have it on my Ic piping right after the elbow coming out of the throttle body. Should I just rip out the stock BOV and piping and be done with it? And if so do I need to do anything with where that stock piping connected to? (I think it connects to the turbo outlet)

If you have a BOV on a GReddy elbow then you can just remove the stock one and all the hose, you just need to plug all the open ports.

Hrm right now it's by the throttle body, the old location has a spot for the stock one to reconnect to the intakes that come with the Greddy v mount kit. They have like 3 ports on each intake. Strange.

many people say as close to throttle body as possible, others say anywhere it doesn't matter.....there's always passionate arguments for an against.....both parties put forward why they are right there really isn't (from what I've heard) a proven place where it's more effective :/
