3200 miles
and which Apex seals did you choose.
stock 2-mm seals. Dave Barninger did not recommend the 3-mm HD seals...too much trouble with breakage. The HDs ended up being too brittle?
Are you silocone o-rings teflon coated?
I don't think so...?

Hmm...I'm curious as to what problems you had with PR?

I just had my engine and tranny rebuilt, and although the tranny still feels notchy in some ways on the third gear....all of it seems pretty rock solid. We'll see on the dyno, Thursday morning.

Mazda remanufactured engines are pretty good nowadays. A few years ago, some people had problems, but I think it was more likely from bad mechanics that didn't know what they were doing.

SleepR1,
Please e-mail me at uratrout@msn.com I'd like to contact those people you know of with problems on Pineapple engines. I can tell you first hand, his warranty does not cover labor.

Not so, mine was done a year ago and the o-rings have failed. They are built on an essembly line and it is outsourced to another company. I'm not sure if I would call those workers mechanics. Basically, you exchange your block for one that has allready been rebuilt. All parts that are within spec' are reused. ...this is what i've been told by the race shops and the dealer.
