where is my ECU located?

according to the manual, it looks like it's located inside the car on the passengers side footwell after removing an interior panel, is this correct?

Those guys writing the factory manuals are such kidders. The ECU is actually located above the differential.

No, that's a typo. The engine is actually a rotisserie.

just take off the interior panel on the right side of the passenger side foot well its(just below the glove box) its there u cant miss it... seriously...

Well how the hell am I suppose to find it if I don't have a passenger sitting in the car to reference where the side of their foot is? Not all of us all master mechanics you know.

Ok I already removed my differential and the entire exhaust system and I cant find the ecu anywhere? naw j/k lol but ya thanks the help
