Hey Aleem...

How's things? What you're not having RX7 Specialities
or Adam and Al redo your turbos? Can they just order new cartridges?

Are both shot? I would have thought you would be going single....

I would look into M2s upgraded turbos... talk too you soon. jc.

Is Adam and Al Street-porting the new engine as well?

do a search on this topic.

you are absolutely nuts to go with a rebuilt set. the stock units are junk.. thats why you need new ones. rebuilt turbos do not last in my experience.

my first set made 5k

my last set made 3k

3thousand wasted.

finally I went m2 ballbearing.

the stock upgrades do not last..the shafts are too small to do any wheel upgrades..the will destroy themselves from what Ive been told.

do not use turbo city...

do not use performance techniques.

good luck

jason

I got mine done at Turbo City . I only needed seals though (report came back saying manifold looked "beautiful", no cracks), they still made perfect boost and had no blowby, they just had an external leak, so hopefully these will last, but we'll see. I haven't put significant mileage on them yet (maybe 500 or so), no problems so far. New one's are very expensive, $2700, does anyone know how much they are from MazdaComp?

*****, i thought you'd learn by now.

Single Turbo is the ONLY way to go.

BTW, Wayne just sold an almost complete HKS T51 set for only 3,000!!!!

It was just missing a DP.

Oh Jason, how are the M2 units? Any lag? Power increase good? How much boost? Etc etc, I want details! That is my ultimate setup since its the best thing that can pass smog. Capt. Bill was having trouble with his and I haven't heard anymore since then.
