where is FD engine number?
hi all
anyone know where to look for the engine number on an early JDM FD?
i hear that some cars early cars didn't have them???
and that if they did they are under the alternator...
damned if i can find it

last call on this one guys
if we can't find an engine number on my FD, now in australia, we're going to have to give some good reasons why to the cops and then get them to inspect the engine and pay for a new number to be generated and stamped on....
so if anyone has any ideas on where the number could be, should be, might be, please let me know so i can pass it on to the poor guy who has to get under the car, pull guards and get to work with mirrors and lights
they DO have engine numbers usually right?
