Where does these connector go?

I've done some research and even used many references but couldnt figure out where these connectors goes.

I've used FRONT ENGINE HARNESS trying to figure out the connector but was unable to. Maybe I am missing something.

In this picture, connector #1 is from Engine harness which connected to the female side from Connector #2 harness. Where does connector #2 goes? It seem like it is an extension from connector #1. Please advice.

How about connector #3? Where does that go? I tried comparing the harness from HERE picture #1 and #4 but couldnt figure it out. Please advice.

Thanks in advance!

iirc that was the fan control harness that was added as part of a factory recall when the fd's use to "catch on fire". the dealers added this along with new fuel hoses. this was incorporated into newer harness. # 3 was plugged into a small black relay box. i still have this on my fd. i can take pics if you need. this relay would turn on the fans after you park and turn off the car.

If you dont mind taking a picture of where this is. It would be very helpful as I am putting back the car and I just couldnt find anything to plug into.

So for connector #2, where does that go?

ecu. # 2 takes the place of # 1 you can get rid of the patch harness if you don't have the fan control unit.( small black box) that #3 is plugged into

So you're saying that I can get rid of the "extension patch harness" + the connector #3. And just plug #1 into ECU #2?

After reading your statement above, your answer was that #2 plugs into the ECU which takes place of #1. correct?

When you say ECU, did you mean the stock computer? Because I currently have a BNIB PFC and none of the connect in the rear looks correct to fit #2 connector.

Keep in mind the fan relay harness was also changed as part of the recall and may not be mutually exclusive of the patch harness. This changed the way the fans are powered and controllled in order to allow the fans to run with the key off.

There should be a complete schematic of the fan mod wiring somewhere on the forum. Some of the changes may have been incorporated into later production, iirc.

After some extensive search and checking my custom single turbo harness...

I found out I am missing this connector:

My question is: Which branch of harness should this connector be coming from?

According to the pin-out, I am assuming this connector should be coming from branch #1 here? Since the pin-out is pointing towards the battery, fuel pump relay etc etc.

Please advice. Thank you.

After reviewing the harness connectors from Branch #1 shown above. The missing connector I need is not from that branch. However, I still couldnt figure out if it was suppose to be from Branch #4. If so, why isn't it here:
Attachment 678245
Block (4)

B1-01 – ECU #1
X-05 – Connector Between Front & Emission
X-07 – Connector Between Front & Dash
X-13 – Connector Between Front & Floor
0-03 – ABS Hydraulic Unit
0-05 - RF ABS Wheel Speed Sensor
0-02 – ABS Hydraulic Unit
D1-01 – Wiper Motor
