Where does this electrical connector go?

Where does this electrical connecter connect to? Also the same with that vacuum hose. I took off my UIM and they were not connected to anything. Is it alright to leave them off?

The blue connector is for the EGR valve position switch.

The hose is a vent off of the first solenoid on your rat's nest closest to the front if the car. In the 95 cars they just stuck the vent on the end of the solenoid instead of putting a U shaped hose on the end. When I did my hose job, I just put the vent on without the hose.
