Where does this bushing go? I got a B&M shifter and it said to use this bushing...

So i just got back from mazda with my bushing. I have no clue as to where this thing goes. It's a little white bushing about a big around as a dime and 1/2 in tall. The instructions that came with the B&M shifter gave me a part number but dont say where it goes. Well im in the middle of getting all of my manual tranny stuff together to do the swap. and was wondering where this thing needs to go.

Bushing would go to the rounded tip of the shifter that sits in the transmission.

wont it fall off in tranny? or does it just snap on? thanks for responding

I used a mallet to get the bushing to snap/lodge into place.

It will be clearer for you once you remove the stock shifter. That bushing should be there.

Add a little grease and push it on the shifter bottom. It will snap on.
