Subject basically says it all. I'm going to get my car up on jack stands in all 4 corners this weekend and was wondering where you guys put them? Where is the safest place? I've put it on stands a couple times but seem to have a hard time finding a place that looks really secure.

I've always put my jackstands just behind the little metal "lip" that the stock jack would typically ride in (front & rear). It's thick enough behind the lip to get good contact with the jackstand and the car as been very stable up on stands in those locations.

I put my jack stand on the suspension arm. I've had my car on jackstand for 3 weeks now and it's fine.

 

Suspension arm for me too.
