I want to know how i can get an average to good R-1 for like 7,000

hell, I'd buy ten. Truth is, the car's value is whatever the market will bear. The KBB and Edmunds and NADA reports are designed to use value tracking, and diminishing return calculations to come up with these numbers. Generally they are not based on actual market sales.
