Where in DC Metro area for new motor install?
I plan on purchasing an FD with a blown motor. It eats coolant, has been overheated, and suffers from o-ring failure. I'm thinking there's some rotor warpage from the overheating.
PFS is located very close to me, however this board seems to have a serious hatred towards them. Reading the recent court case didn't help me to trust his work.
Where should I take the car? How much should I expect to pay for a new motor + installation?
Thanks.

Go see Dave at KDR in Nazarath Pa, about 3-4 hours out of DC. You have to wait in line but he does great work and is honest as the day is long.

If you are near PFS, then you are also near Rotary Perfomance. They now do 3rd gens. Whether they do swaps, I am not sure. I can say Brett at RP is great to work with. Call him at 703-257-5108.
