where can i get quality batteries
Any of you guys know where i can get a good battery...something that looks pretty nice under the hood as well with typical easy drop in installation....any links?? light weight batteries..i don't wanta spend more then a 100 bux

You need the "reversed" Orange label Optima. The regular ones won't fit because of the location of the posts.
You can go smaller with the Honda 51R battery and there is someone on the forum that makes hold down brackets, but I would sugest the Optima version because water filled batterys will leak acid when hot.

If you really want to get small there is the Odyessy (Harley/BMW) battery which starts the car fine but can not run anything with the engine off. You will need a hold down kit but NTech won't sell you the replacement unless you allready bought their BMK before.

I am going to need a mini-size battery for my front-mount installation. Doesn't the miata come with a little battery or don't a lot of miata owners use a certain kind of little battery... there was a thread about this a while ago. Any suggestions... Keeping the price in mind.

TurboJeff makes a great Stainless Steel Tray & Holddown to fit the fd for them.
