Unhappy where can i find window switch

i have 93 touring, and my window switch on the driver side stopped working.
I learned that I could purchase a new one from malloy for around $150, but I want to spend less and settle for a used one.
I posted numerous times at the wanted/sell section but no luck.
Anyone know a reliable source to get a used master window switch??

Thanks,
Jason

$150 is the best price you will get. If you remove the plastic bezel and switches from the switching mechanism (four 1" grade-8 wood screws) you'll probably find that you can still operate the windows by manipulating the internal contacts. The achillies heel of the driver's side window switch is the cheap plastic portion. Ask Ray Crowe at Mallow if just the plastic bezel and switches can be ordered.

Damn, $150 for a new one? I'd get the new one - that's a DEAL.

If that's still too rich, PM FritzFlynn - he's the MAN on used parts. I bet he's got one.

You can take the switch apart and clean the contacts up, but there's no guarantee that the plastic will be in good shape and it will go back together properly.

If you do plan on getting a new one, opt for the '94+ switch. You'll get the "one press auto-down" on the driver's side window. That's what I did with mine after I couldn't fix it.
