where is the best place to send engine for rebuild?

for the money where is the best place to send to get this engine rebuilt? im from abilene tx near dallas.... another question is that me and my friend that are going to tear the engine out do have pretty ok mechanical skills, is it that hard to just rebuild ourselves? is there alot of special tools and things to look for in this engine during rebuild? we both havent delt with these engines so im wondering. this is on a 94 r2 rx7... Thanks!

The best place would be IRP in New Jersey.

Best place in Texas would have to be RP in Garland.

We had this same exact thread last week. Try searching?

Rotary Performance - rx7.com is in TX if you want to stay local. Otherwise, there are plenty of options.

If you were in Canada, I would tell you to contact Jim Kutsche! perhaps he is willing to do a US job for you.

He has done many rebuilds and is one of the most professional people around!

Stay local. If you have a problem they'll have the quick remedy... As for someone local to you GO TO ARI! Rotary Performance.
