When removing the AST

When removing the AST ,do I need to cut the old filler neck off and drill and tap it to let the 2nd gen rad. cap fit?

you must have a non-removable top on your thermostat housing....Get one with a removable top first....

which recall is that, When I bought it in 2000 they said they did all the recalls. Something sbout the ECU, thats all I know. Sound easier to get a metal AST for me.
