Hello-
Purchase: Dec. 2003, 76k, $16k
Now: Feb. 2004, 81k, $1.5k more dumped in (mostly in tires)
The engine was rebuilt at ~30k in 1997. When I bought the car at 76k, I found that it had a secondary boost problem... after many, many hours of troubleshooting, I found that two vacuum lines were swapped. I swapped them back, and full power! The vacuum lines were so hard that they'd probably been that way since the rebuild.
What's my point? The engine only has 5k miles driven with any kind of full power :-). Lucky me!
