what's this port?

Newbie question sorry but better suited to the 3G forums I reckon. I have a bare engine block going in without much reference information, there's a lot of ports etc that I can't immediately determine what function they serve. There's a threaded hole in the rear plate, just below the aftmost mount hole of the LIM and just in front of the side inspection plate. Would someone be kind enough to tell me what mounts here? or is it just supposed to be plugged?

Went out and took a look at my block.

Looks like it is just left open. It is partly hidden behind that little sheet metal shield.

Looks like the rear oil drain for the factory twin turbos.

That is the lower port with the two mounting holes straddling the center hole. He is referring to the hole above, partially covered by the transmission trim plate. I agree with above, I don't think this needs to be plugged.
