Question What's my Low Mile '93 worth??

'93 Touring - Montego Blue / Tan Leather

43K miles. Orig engine. Idles at 17-18 lbs.

Car is in excellent condition and has no problems. All servicing done at M2 performance (Doug).

M2 Stage 3 (ECU, Intake, Med I/C, DP, stainless dual tip)
AVC-R boost controller
M2 Suspension (Gab/coilovers, Trailing Arms, Toe-links)
Boost gauge, SPA temp/fuel gauge, J&S knock sensor.
Everything else stock.

What do you think? I'm interested in feedback. Thanks.

Depends on where you live and if you can find someone who realizes that those are some nice mods. I would guess somewhere between $18K and $22K. It's hard to judge the value of FD's though IMO. The value varies so much from car to car.

93's tend to be less than the 94,95 but in good cond can pull 16 or 17k depending on miles and options/color. Your car is probably worth much more because its been serviced by the best and with low miles could easily pull close to 20k. The only problem is bank finacing. Most will not loan for anything over book value. So this leaves you with lowing the price to sell it or wait for someone who happens to have alot to put down to make up the differance from what the bank will loan or is paying cash anyways. Whats hard is to imagine someone with that much money wanting an 8 or 9 year old 20k car. But they are out there if your not in a hurry. The intrest will be there I am sure but the money will be hard to come up with from most of them is what I am getting at. Good luck.

I would say around $17-$19k...but that's my opinion....

Btw, Dreamin, could you post your boost pattern with those mods you have? I'm not sure my M2 ECU is running right....

you could probly ask 20, or maybe even more,
because of all the aftermarket mods you have, which
probly give you some insane power.

But that type of car is pretty tough to sell,
i was watching this one cym, with lotsa mods, sit and sit and sit,
cuz the guy was asking 25 grand

i'd say ask 19, and be flexible, depending on the interest you get.

Thanks for the info guys... I'm in No. Calif, so that should help a little.

Pressurized: The M2 ECU gave me a perfect 12-10-12 pattern with ZERO spiking (stock sized-pills), controlled boost very well. I'm not even sure why I got the AVC-R (because it was cool)... but I have it set-up for 10-10-10 & 12-11-12.

Hmm - well, to be truthful, the car's only really worth a box of used shoe polish and some Ho-Ho's, but since I'm SUCH a nice guy, I'll take it off your hands for $10k.

Seriously, if you can't get $18 out it, you're not trying hard enough. Let us know when it goes up for sale - I may be interested.

$18,000 is a bit optimistic unless you manage to find a true RX-7 fan who intends to take advantage of that kickass suspension setup.

If you just sell it to Joe Schmoe in the classifieds...$15,000-$16,000 is more like it.
