What's causing intermittant 10-5-10/10-5-5/10-5-0?

Sup guys,

I was hoping to get some help now that I got my boost gauge installed. First of all, I used all the required fittings with my Autometer gauge including the crush rings and followed the instructions to a "T". Once installed, I drove around my neighborhood to test it out. To my surprise I was getting 10 on my first turbo, but then came the forseeable (sp?) let down, only a 5 for a transition and then a, what's this?! A 10?! Not bad except for the 5 transition. However, remembering that I was very unhappy with the way my car was acting days earlier, feeling VERY slow compared to when I first fixed my boost leak problem unleashing the true beast of my stock 7, I knew that something was fishy so I made more runs. The conclusion for the time being is that I'm getting some intermittant boost patterns. The only thing I can think of is some kind of actuator rod is sticking or something else is sticking intermittantly.

What's causing this? If someone has any questions, please let me answer them the best I can if it'll help. If this has been discussed before, let me know. It's just that I thought it was sort of unique being intermittant.

Mods:

Greddy turbo timer
Autometer Street Comp Boost gauge

103k mi
original engine and turbos

Thanks a lot

Anthony

Sorry, my first post is a little vague. By intermittant I mean that after getting the first readings of 10-5-10, I made more runs and started getting different readings. Later, I got 10-5-5's, 10-5...5...0 (kind of stayed at 5 for a few seconds and then gradually limped to 0) It was staying at 5 for a lond time during the transiton between turbos.

Could be a clogged cat. Or a bad solenoid somewhere.

Unfortunatly I am having the same problems. I can make 10 psi in 1st, shift to 2nd, floor it and make no boost. It changes all the time. You are going to have to drive the car more and get more patterns and more instances of the problem. You are also going to have to supply more info for these guys to help you trouble shoot. I am going to switch over to non-sequential to try to figure out my problem. Good Luck.
