I have m2 and it is really easy to install and work with. 3" stainless steel so it will outlast the car on most accounts

Yeah it doesn't really matter which one you get. Personally I would go with Pettit. They are essentially the same thing at the same price, but Pettit's customer service is much better than M2's.

Blah Blah, but seriously there's no point. I don't know what kind of magical dust tuners put on there dp's to double the price, but it's insane. But if you must, M2 does make a killer (did I mention it's polished?) dp.

It's a remove 6 bolts job. What makes it difficult is the space you are given to work with. The top bolts are the hardest to get to. In most instances, you will only be able to move the ratchet an inch or so.

Because of the extreme heat, I recommened getting either a SS Dp or getting a mild steel one coated in some way. Rust is not a pretty thing.

JDM DP's are smashed and US DP's are not. You were looking at a Japan only Down Pipe picture.

the 'dent' is to make room for their steering system...since they are right hand drive after all.

Get any DP as long as it does not rust. Polished is nice..but who can really see the DP?

Coatings

If you go to get it coated, get Jethot, not the crap I tried on mine which is Techline............sounded good on the phone, since I had a local installer (versus shipping it to Jethot....in MS or LA I believe)........and it was 40.00......I hardly even drove the car for a few miles and the ceramic coating started falling off close to the Manifold........Jethot is supposedly MUCH better, as in, is actually stays ON the FRIGGIN PIPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The other option is to wrap it...........

Either way it's supposed to keep the under hood temps lower.........

rp downpipe creates more flow but installation is a little tricky because you have less room to work with.

i kinda find it hard to believe that hks can't shape the bends to get around obstructions. they are hks after all.

RX7.com stainless steel. Perfect fit. Their studs are crap, though. Use the stock studs.

midpipe, catback is much easier than the downpipe to get off/on. Only problem with the downpipe is where it attaches to the turbo manifold. The top are easy (provided you remove the y pipe assembly) and the bottom are not that bad either once everything is out of the way
