I decided to just change the filters and thought i would update this thread once more with some pics of the installed shield. im going to leave it for now.






The HKS filters were pretty dirty on the outside but clean on the inside, i was amazed. The second turbo filter especially looked good. The primary turbo filter had a oil stain that had leaked through so it was a good time to change.

guess which is the primary turbo filter!





Ive been driving in the aircon on lately and temps are awesome, i get 80degrees celcius max, even when driving a little hard.
