What would you trade your FD for...

realy now, is there another version that you would consider trading for?

I have a chaste white 94 with black leather, and I like it alot, BUT looking at the Silver with red leather, I could be tempted...what is your favorite combo?

or, being in a JDM accessible market, one of the 99's in blue or a Spirit R

That's kinda funny, I have a silver '93 with Red interior, and I was looking for chaste white when I bought it.

...I'd still go for a black R2 FD which is what I originally wanted before I bought my CYM.

It would be difficult to ever part with my car....we have such history it is like a family member.

Having said that, I definitely think a Competition Yellow Mica R1 would be awfully hard to turn down.

But then, so would an Aston Martin Vantage!

I doubt I would ever sell mine anytime soon, but I just got word that Dodge's new Hemi Challenger is definately a possibility for production.....It may be that I would half to own two pieces of history....

When buying an FD I made sure I didnt make any compromises, and got exactly what I wanted, a BB R2. With a car like this I didnt want to be wishing I wouldve got something different. The only other FD I would like would be a CYM, and thats just because of the rarity. If someone wanted to trade me for a CYM it would be a hard decision.

Hmm....

Anyway, there are plenty of cars I'd trade it for, but only for the cash value.

Maybe trading it for the winning powerball ticket - then I'd start a rescue shelter, hire a guy like TurboJeff to be the "Doctor", and get serious about saving good FDs from morons.

I have exactly what i wanted, a low-mileage mint CYM The only thing i'd trade it for would be a lower mileage cym, lol

If I could afford a second, I'd buy a silver 95 R2

White on Black is probably my favorite, then MBM on Black, Then CYM on BLACK. I cant decide if I like the red interior or not but silver is the best for that.

I have a black/black '95 base. I would've preferred to get something other then a base model but it doesn't really bother me. I've seen a VR/black interior FD with absolutely IMMACULATE oem paint and interior. That was sexy and I would have preferred that with the r2 package. Only thing about the r1/r2's that I don't like is that the suede seats ALWAYS look faded. My base seats are still lookin brand new.

IMHO the red interior sucks though. Looks too riceboyish for my tastes.

I got what I wanted. VR/Black '93 Base FD. I love the base models seats and fact that they don't have the ugly R1 lip or nasty touring fog lights/moon roof. Don't get me wrong I like the 99' Spec lip but the US R1 lip is so not flush with the design of the FD IMO. Although my ultimate love in the FD world is the Spirit R in silver with red Recaro interior. So sexy!

Saleen S7 would be the only car I could see myself trading the FD for in terms of me keeping the car I traded it for...anything else I would sell and buy a lot of houses with it in terms of supercars. Hehe.
