What would you do?
A couple of months ago I posted a thread about my engine running rough and making a bad smell. I finally got a chance today to check on the engines' health. I performed a compression check today and found the rear rotor making 98 psi max on one face. Watching the gauge, with the valve on the gauge open, I could see two low bumps and one high. So I've got a bad apex seal (dammit!). The front rotor maxed out at 120psi(valve closed) with three identical bumps with valve open. So my question is...what would you do?
Do I call Ray Malloy and order a remanufactured engine or do I send it off to get rebuilt? I don't have time to rebuild it myself but I do plan on pulling it out myself.

Showing my ignorance here but couldn't that be a stuck seal? And can you try the water cleaning thing? He said it had a bad smell maybe running very rich and carboned up. Ive never tried this but you guys have talked about it. And Kevin would be a great choise!

I don't think it's a stuck seal. The smell......smells like a burning clutch. Something is going on. Just so you know, it makes this smell at idle. It's not a rich mixture smell.
