losing boost too early/not being able to build boost

why do you ask? I think failure in one of the valves is rare.

They're so easy to remove, why don't you just check them? There is a procedure in the manual.

They seem to check out OK but I have had problems with not building enough boost 8-5-8. I have done the hose job and rechecked all the connections. I have also done alot of turbo troubleshooting.

I had your problem, it was a clogged cat but some how I think my case was a 1 in a million.

try plugging up your intakes with tennis *****.
then take off where your bov goes to the uim or where the boost gauge goes to the uim and put an air compressor on and shoot some air in there

then listen and feel around for leaks cause its either a leak or you have something hooked up wrong or not hooked up.

I wish I knew more to give more specific help but try that trick it may work for you

good luck
