What is it worth? Engine with bad coolant seal

Pulled the Engine yesterday. Going LS1.
Had the car a month. Drove it home and parked it. Found out about the seal when I cranked it back up after sitting for a couple of weeks.
Engine is suppose to be Japanese with 50k miles on it.
Compression measured 100psi in front and rear when I purchased it.
(didn't know I needed to, or how to check for coolant seal)
Has pettit pullies, ACT Clutch, Downpipe
Have someone here offering me something for it, but I don't know if it is worth more or not. Guess I could part it out, but not really into that right now. I want to get the build on!

Thanks for any input

well for one if it has a bad coolant seal, from what im told, if you dont crank it over at least once a week the housings will rust and then you wont even be able to use them. Once again, just what i heard im not a expert. I would guess the entire complete long block in no running condition with what you listed would be worth around 1200-1500. Just my best guess.

yes, you will have to drain and treat the engine with oil and make sure all coolant is out of it completely or rust will damage at least half of the usable parts from the engine.

most core FD engines, blown or with coolant seal failures are worth about $250-400(people who want more need to put the pipe down). as well, 100 psi is not a great figure for compression, it means your housings are half way through their lifespan which is to be expected after 50k which also lowers the value of the core somewhat, because the edges of the housings are beginning to flake. add to that price the cost of your accessories included to find out your long block price, most add ons probably won't total more than about $300 giving a complete long block with a blown coolant seal an estimated value of about $600-700 at most.

i have picked up 30k mile remans with exceptional compression for $200 for the short block, although that is pretty rare but i laugh at people who want more than $500 for a core motor in questionable condition. you just don't know until you break the engine open, it may even be in your interest to part out the block, because that takes the guesswork out of it and you can make more off of it(or possibly less if you're that unlucky and it has been that neglected).

rotors = ~200-250/pair
rotor housings = $175 in excellent condition - ~$75 in poorer condition
irons = ~$85 for endplates - ~$120 center
e-shaft = $45

the rest is pretty much useless junk that is too common or near worthless to try and sell.

Thanks for the comments. I will pull the plugs and throw some marvel in the housings and rotate it.
