You know that the search button can be used on any topic. So while were at it lets close down the forum so we just use the search button. What if I want other opinions than the ones that were stated ok. If you cant answer it then dont please.

Thank You.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think it has something to do with the trailing arms. If you really want to get rid of wheel hop then just put in a 9" Ford rear end. J/K

Wheel hop is when you want to peel out but your wheels stick just long enough to "hop" in the air. When the suspension brings them back down again, then they will "hop" again. You get a violent shaking instead of a smooth peelout and it is very stressful on the suspension and rear drivetrain. You will know when you wheelhop. It's unforgettable.

I think M2 and RP sell trailing arms and toe links which help. Or just get the KAAZ and never think about wheel hop again.

M2 and Pettit sell the arms and toe links. I'm not sure if the KAAZ helps this since it is caused by the suspension storing and releasing energy, not the rear.

Maybe I'm full of it. Anyone know if the differential bushings are involved in the hopping?

The differential bushings contribute to wheel hop as well. Pettit sells a drag launching kit that includes delrin diff. bushings and aluminum control arms. I believe the toe-links contribute to the wheel hop as well. As stated earlier wheel hop can destroy your stock differential, and it's expensive to replace.

A Kazz diff wont do it alone, but it does help. I finally got rid of my wheel hopp by replacing the diff, control arms and toe-links.

Were you able to set your TEIN's soft enough to
eliminate you wheel hop, or did you have to replace the
diff, control arms and toe-links?

I just practice launched my car tonight for the first time
with w/my TEIN's and the car wheel hop'd pretty bad.

There are 24 clicks on the TEIN's,
I have the rear set 8 down from hard
I have the front set 6 down from hard

Could softening the rear's help enough to eliminate my
wheel hop problem? Guess there is only one way to
really know, eh? adjust & test...
