what type of ignition on the FD

I highly doubt that the FD has a cap and rotor, but i'm a newb, so does it have a cap and rotor, a single coil, or a coil for each spark plug?

two trailing coils and one leading coil that powers both leading plugs.

Pop the hood & look, you would be able to answer your own question that way.

it's a distributorless ignition. there's 2 sensors that are activated when certain spots on the main pulley pass by them. it's very similar to a crank trigger type of ignition

I don't own a RX-7 yet, i can afford to buy one but can't afford insurance or "oh ****" money (i.e. rebuild money), so i'm not gonna buy one. I was just wondering, trying to learn as much as i can before i buy one.
