Unhappy What are the symptoms of a blown engine?

i think I friend my engine. The car has very little boost and is back firing pretty bad and when I hit the gas the car dies out. I notice like a ticking sound from the enging bay, could it be a hose loose? theres no smoke from the exhaust. It all seem to happen when I changed my plugs. any ideas?? What are the symptoms of a blown engine?

Rough idle, hard hot starting. Have you checked the hose to your MAP sensor?
