just acquired one through this forum. didn't come with any hardware besides the bar itself. Is there a way I can make sure the bar will be bolted down centered under the hood? what size bolts do I need? any specific type of metal for the bolts for strength? thanks!

 

If you are referring to the bolts that hold the bar to the strut cover attachment, any hardness bolt of the right size will be good enough. Take one of the strut attachments to your local hardware store to get the right size. Its not rocket science.
