I have all 18 bushings and need to get them installed. One guy said he would do it for $500. What did you pay, or how many hours did it take you?

Or you could do it yourself. Here's a step-by-step link on how to replace all the pillow ball bushings.

http://www.maxcooper.com/rx7/how-to/...lls/index.html

This should cover all the bushings in the Unobtainium kit except for the differential bushing. You're on your own for that one.

Dude the pillow ***** are completely different then the unobtanium bushings. there are 18 unobtainium bushings and an additional 8 pillow ball bushings. I did the unobtanium bushing install myself and let me tell you without a good hydraulic press you arent gonna do it. If you need more info just pm me and I will tell you about it. it took probably 8 hours for me to do once the control arms were offf the car but now that I have done it I could do it again in half that time.

I isnt going to be cheap to have someone else do it. If you have a garage go buy a hydrualic jack around 12 tons from Northern Tool for $100 plus another $50 in shipping and do it yourself over a weekend.

But trust me the pillow ball trick wont work with the bushings some are metal lined bushing pressed into metal for 10 years. they are VERY tough to get out even with a press.

I also replaced all my pillow ***** and they press out VERY EASY!!

Mike
BTW anyone in the Maryland area needs their bushings pressed I will do it just shoot me an email and we can talk $$.
