Question what sensor is this???

Found this as I was going through my garage today looking for something. Appears to be a sensor or some sort. Says TODC on the end and seams to have a tiny metal pin comming out. The other side has an electrical connector. Any idea what this is?

I would have to say it looks like the water thermo sensor or thermo switch on the backside of the waterpump housing. Looking at the pictures I would say you have a broken one there. It's missing a lot of the probe end of the sensor.

I thought something might be broken off the end. Guess it goes in the garbage. Thanks.
