Doing some research on my fuel smell. I was finding some old threads on the primary rail leaking (outside, engine to rail)


I milled my stock rail and put in 850s, but i dont recall any rings or something to seal it to the ports/engine. are there?

i do have the plastic bushing thingy installed and the rail it self is good and not leaking internally.



if there is, anyone have pics or it? also a part number if so. appreciated

Just ask your local mazda dealer for the Primary fuel rail grommets. However, it might be cheaper just to buy this kit and you will have everything new to make a complete seal and eliminate any fuel injector leakage.

 

there is a thing black plastic figure 8 piece that fits between the primary rail and the block. such a bitch to put on too.

 

thanks guys. yeah my local mazda has crazy prices. i already have the black figure 8 piece that goes where the bolts are. just need those other ones
