What are race bearings goin to do for me?

I need to replace my rotor and stationary gear bearings and want to know if it is worth it to upgrade to race bearings or stay with the stock ones. What is the difference/ Tolerances and material?

No sense in it unless the motor will be run HARD. The race bearings have a larger clearance as well as a deeper groove for more oiling. It is overkill for anything other than a competition motor though.
