What a problem I have
Hey, I have a slight problem... I am thinking about selling my 7 for a purchase of an Acura NSX. The nsx is a real nice one. I love my 7 but, its an auto. I think the only reason I'm willing to get rid of it is because its automatic. The car looks great and runs like a champ but, It just seems soooo bogged down by that auto trans. I was thinking about a 5-speed swap but I heard the whole thing would cost like 4000.00 to do. I dont want to blow my coin on that. Then, I could get a 5-speed 7 but, I have a strong reliable one now and I dont want someone elses problem car. Anybody have any advice?

IMO, if you want a 5-speed and getting another FD is an option, do it. I wouldn't consider the tranny swap, but that's just me. Are you sure you can get a good condition NSX for the price of a 5-speed FD?
I had been looking at NSX's for a while. Most of the ones I saw that were in decent condition were still going for quite a bit more than most good condition FD's. However, if money is no option, the NSX is a damn sweet looking car if that's what you are into.

Well, the nsx is a 92 with 70k on it. Some rich old guy bought it new in 93 and he is the original owner. He wants 25k for it and it is worth it. He has the maint. book with all the stamps and everything. My 7 rides nice, no clunks from the shocks or creaks and moans but, the nsx feels likes it new? Thanks for the input
