i have noticed that my car makes a weird "siren" noise (its really hard to describe). it happens whenever i accelerate hard ( WOT ), shift, accelerate and then let off the gas. it feel like im not boosting so im guessing it has to do with my secondary. i swear to god my car doesnt like me... sometimes it boosts up and sometimes it doesnt. it feels like a N/A.

i dont have any mods except for a pfs exhaust. boost gauge doesnt work but ill get that fixed -hopefully- this weekend. im planning on installing my pettit dp this weekend but im concern about the noise. should i wait on the dp? or go ahead and put it on?

oh btw the best way to describe the noise: it sound like the siren that the cops use to pull you over except that its "muffled" and coming from the engine.

Sounds like a classic boost leak. Check the intake tract between the turbos and throttle body thoroughly.

 

i had this sound... ended up being my primary turbines bushing screaming bloody murder lol
