What More Will I Need??

So, I blow my motor and I need a new clutch, since I want to get up and running for as little as possible, I going to drop in a used 99 spec motor with tranny.

Now I know that there are differences between the US version and the 99 spec version. I know that the 99 boosts at 11 psi, and that they changed out the terrible rats nest of vacuum hoses with the black box (don't know much about the black box).

my question is if there are anything else I need to do?

-I was told I need to upgrade the fuel pump even if I just want to stay at the 11 psi.
-Is there any wire harness issues. I come from the world of honda swaps and I know alot of the JDM harnesses are different they thier sister US version.

any help would be grateful

You will need to run the 93-95 ecu as far as I know unless you already have another ECU?? And 11 psi is not safe on the stock ecu even with a pump upgrade, then again I dont know much about JDM tyte engine swaps

You will definitely have to work your way around smog because you're not going to pass.

Yes the wiring harness is different, as it will not fit to the stock location in the car to the ECU. When we swapped my car, I put on the USDM intake manifolds and used my "old" harness, but I'm not sure how the manifolds will go with your new vacuum set-up...

Smog I have covered, I've been doing swap in my hondas 9 years.

As far as the harness and computer, could I use a APEXi Power FC Commander to wire into the harness? I already have one, but I was going to wait till i had more $$$ to add some mods before tuning it.

best bet is to tear the 99 motor down to the shortblock and put all your 93 stuff on it.
