Check the frame for rust, soo many you wont even be able to find any frame at all because it has been completely rusted out.

Just find a good one. Find one that was well maintained, taken care of, and not used and abused. Either look at low-mileage <60k miles cars, or higher mileage cars with a rebuilt motor. You don't want to be responsible for replacing the motor. A good many of them tend to need it between 50 and 80 thousand miles.

Also, bring a boost gauge along because you need to check for the proper boost pattern. Don't boost, or rev over 4k until the motor is warmed up.

If you get an RX-7, take good care of it, change the oil/filter every 2-3k miles. Be good to it, and it will be good to you.
