It's a loan not a credit card, but their probably is still a late fee. No reason to have a late payment though when they make you send bank info. so they can automatically take it out of your bank account.
You misunderstood: they can permanently raise your interest rate (to over 20%) if you're late on any payment to anyone, not just on the loan. This is a lot more costly than a late fee. Just trying to caution people to read the fine print before they sign...
