Unhappy What installed Aeromotive new Stealh pump= issues?

Hey guys I have search the forum but can't find anything related to my issues, pretty much I had walbro 255 pump for many years decide to upgrade to Aeromotive new Stealh pump which was very easy just a drop because it use the same type of connector. Anyway when I switch on the ignition I hear the pump for a few second and then it stop? I try to start the car it crank and try to run for a 2 sec and it die, I removed the entire assembly and hook it up outside to a battery with direct power and ground the pump stays running until I unplug power, so it's not the pump can it be that my walbro polarity is different from the aeromotive? I find it hard that polarity is different considering it use the same type of connector. Also my fuel pump is wire with a bosch 40 amp relay so the pump should at aleast stay on? Or only when the engine is running?

Yes I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the polarity is opposite of the walbro. The pump has + and - marked on it and the directions say to make sure you have it wired correctly. You have to switch the wire terminals in the plug going to the pump. I installed this pump recently using the plug that came with it and did a rewire job with a relay to run new 10 gauge gas resistant wires from Lowes, power wire goes through a cheap $10 bulkhead from summit in to the tank to the pump, ground wire same thing but just used a bolt to attach it to the cover and then ran to a good ground in the hatch. I didn't have a walbro before.
