what if wastegate and turbo precontrol valve hoses are not hooked up?

To save you time I recently purchased a 93 TT from I what had to be the biggest moron ever. Anyway, I have found a lot of stuff routed to the wrong places and just not hooked up. I have been having lots of boost problems and through Rob Robinettes wonderful page I determined that I was missing both restrictor pills. I had a flat 7 lbs of boost. Before I found this info I decided that I would just replace all the vacuum hoses and start over knowing that if something didn't work it would be my fault. The quadrapalegic retard that had my car before me had already installed a new hose kit, but didn't secure them and I honestly didn't think he did it right. So I bought a new kit and started over.
When I got to the wastegate and turbo precontrol valves located on the intake manifold I noticed some interesting stuff going on there. Only one hose was connected from the bottom left nipple(valve) to the cylinder shaped thing with 3 nipples on it. It was routed to the nipple that is supposed to be plugged for a manual transmission. My question is what are the effects of not having any of the other hoses connected? I've connected everything correctly according to Mazda vacuum diagram. Is there any mod that eliminates the use of these solenoids?

I've included a pic of what I am talking about. The red line was attached to where the blowup picture is shown. where it says MT. None of the other lines were hooked up.

actually you will get just the wastegate spring pressure in boost...which is 5~7lbs. For a break in you usually loop (well I did) the wastegate and precontrol lines on those hard pipes, in other words, put a vacuum line going from wastegate at the top to the precontrol at the top. So that way I get minimal boost. Man it sounds like the nimwad before you had no clue what was going on. Funny thing actually, I popped my hood to check the coolant and this ricer kid walked over and said hey man you need to replace those silicone lines for plastic ones, they look better! I was like really? I'll do that (beavis) anyways, good luck with the job
