Angry From what i can tell i have spark and fuel, but still wont start

Well guys i need help once again!! Heres the deal... I let the car sit a few days, I go out to move it, turn the key and it just clicked(sounds like a loud relay) so after a few more trys it started and i moved the cars around in the driveway. I come out a couple days later to take it for a spin, and it turned right over but wont start, and dont even try to start. (i figured it wasnt sparking) I put a spark tester on the rear leading plug and im getting a good spark but that is the only plug i tried it on. I dont know for a fact that its getting fuel but i really feal that it is. I smell fuel every time i try to start it so that makes me think its not the fuel pump(which is not that old to begin) I have the big shop manual but there is a lot of special tools needed to do the trouble shooting it suggests. should I hear the fuel pump with the key on ? (it seems i use to but im not real sure) cause i cant hear it now. i do hear the fuel pump relay as someone turns the key on and off. I did try the jumper wire test thingy from the F/P and GRD terminals on the diagnosis connector and with the key on i hear what i beleive must be the fuel pump (sounds like a fan kinda) but it still wouldnt start. im going to borrow a voltage and ohm tester and do a few more tests tomorrow. so hopefully ill have more info or maybe even figure it out (haha yeah right) .... any suggestions or tests i could do with out going to mazda to buy any special tools would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Try charging the battery or jumping the car. I had that problem on several occasions and it was a weak battery. Enough juice to crank the rotors nicely but not enought to start.

Well i put a charger on it over night and still wont start, turns over nice though. Im getting spark to all plugs. I also checked fuel pump and it is good,or least i can hear it But i was surprised to see very little fuel (and i mean very little) on the plugs after cranking the motor over a couple times, shouldnt they be soaked? Also after cranking i smell gas and i can see a little mist coming out the tail pipe. I have the peter farell pms and im starting to wonder if maybe it took a crap on me and has my timing messed up, i havent changed any settings though and really dont feel thats the problem. Please Help!!! Ill update as i find out more.

You may have flooded your engine the first time you tried to start it.

Unfortunately, you must not just start the car, move it a little and turn it off. They will flood.

I learned the hard way. Washed my car. Put it in the garage. Went next day to start it, wouldn't start. Left it. Tried again next day, nothing. Tried again the following day. Nothing. So, I did the old unflooding procedure on the car and I was amazed at how much fuel was inside the chambers. If you need help with this, lemme know, and I will post it. I think you could do a search for it though.

Also, your battery may be on it's last legs.

1. Try tow starting the car. I just rebuilt my motor, and flooded the engine, I couldn't start it, so I took out the spark plugs and turned the engine to flush out the fuel, but it stil wouldn't start. I put the car in second gear, as he towed me up to 20 mph, I slowly let the clutch out, and it started right up. If the problem continues, you may have a coolant bypass inside your motor, which means coolant is leaking into your rotor housings (combusiton chambers) - which means engine rebuild time.
Good luck.
