How fast have I gotten my car?....225 kph out at Eikei Island...I got scared so I backed off the throttle at the end. I know that Dragon has gotten his car to 260 kph which is like 162 mph. Igy's probably has us all beat...
Point of having a sports car?...duh...of course I like to go fast. Here, the racing is about who can launch the best and accelerate to the end of Mizugama the fastest.
Tuning? Why would I pay some one Y50,000 to computer tune my car when I can street tune it, learn and understand how my PFC works, do it for free and have a good time doing it?
I do ALL the work on my car. Changing transmissions/Diff's/Engine's. Engine BUILDING. I do all the tuning. I DO VERY SINGLE AFTERMARKET INSTALLATION. I fabricate when it's too expensive to buy aftermarket installation(Hence my P.P. Racing enging torque brace which JSPECRACER7 made all by himself...with the help of Dragon's Welder).
Don't think that I'm one of those individuals that has loads of money to have someone build and install my engine. I don't have TONS of money. That's why I bought my IC for $500 and fabricated my own piping. That's why I bought my PFC for $650. That's why I made my own engine torque brace by being creative and using my stock rear strut tower bar/welder/cut off saw and $3.00 in nuts and bolts.

I'm interested in the 'Spirit R' badges that go on the left & right side of the car - but i'd like to see a better closeup of one first if you can get picture - I can't read the type on the bottom from the logo posted on the Mazda Japan website.
See, the thing about that is that I'm really not into ghetto-rigging anything in my FD. If I can get the real deal, why not? If for some reason it's utterly impossible to get, then I'll look into making it myself.

Make one! It's easy... a piece of plywood shaped to fit the cutout, a scrap of foam and piece of leather, a sewing machine, staplegun, and voila! BTW, this REALLY makes a difference in comfort - it's great to be able to have a soft place to rest your elbow. NICE. hell, I should start making them.........

No Spirit R information is being given out. Im working this currently. I tried to order many parts and Mazda doesnt even have the book yet for this car. As the parts are availble I will make sure they make it to my web page, when that is up.
As for the arm rest... We can find it... Sorry.. If
you could give me a part number, or something
in that nature, it would greatly help. Shipping
is pretty much no existant for something like

I don't see the problem with updating a '93 with '01 spec badges, equipment or whatever - i've got the '99 front end, which is a vast improvement IMO, and Spirit R is is all OEM. I'd be the first one to the dealer with a deposit on a new 01' Spirit R, if they would just do the right thing and sell it here. In the meantime, i don't mind being one of a few with a car that looks like it just came off the assembly line.
