What I am missing (turbo removal)?
I have the workshop manual. I am removing the stock twins, I have pulled all coolant lines, oil lines, actuator controls, 6 nuts on studs, but the twins are still on there. What am I missing? Something you can't see? I can't even figure out how to remove the heat shield!

Just below where the downpipe connects to, there is what looks like a plate covering the exhaust portion of the turbos. The two right-side bolts need to be removed. See this picture for a little help:
