What on the drivers side of my oil pan?

I have a couple of pics. I can see a frayed wire, but can't find it in my shop manual.

that's the low oil sensor thingie. umm maybe someone has a better word but it's the thing that like triggers the light when your oil gets low. i think? someone reconfirm this just in case

Where does it go? It's still there, just gotta find a way to re-conect the line.... It can always be fixed

there should be a wire that connects to it and it goes up to a white electrical clip connector thing... man my car vocab blows.. umm looks to me those the wire broke off, like mine. you might look around for a dangling black wire that goes no where. this might be a really hard fix..

save your money and check your oil everytime you get gas.
