was up guys... i have a question. i know that the short block from fc's TII is the same as FD's. so if i buy a short block from the fc and uses everythings else from the fd, will it work? im mean will the twin bolt on the block? i know some one that want to sell me a short block from TII and my fd's engine is no good. if it work, will it affect the power?

Very much no. The motor mounts are in totally different places, and the front cover is different. The FC also has smaller ports, and the needle bearings at the front of the assembly under the front cover aren't designed for the pull-type FD clutch.

To make it work, you'd have to tear the thing apart and use a bunch of FD parts, at which point you could have just built an FD motor to begin with.

Save your money and do it right.
