what do you guys think? buy or no

http://www.trader.ca/Search/Details....ADS=6202697%7C

hey guys. i've been in the market for an fd for some time now, and not with much success. now i've recently come across this on auto trader and it seems pretty good. the only problem is i know about the upgrades they did in 94 so i was hoping for a 94+. basically i was wondering what you guys thought of this one. so i go for it, or are the differences so big i should keep looking for a 94/95?
thanks for the help.

You've only got another 20k miles or so on that engine if it hasn't been rebuilt yet. The '93s also had the bad 5th gear problem, so I would also worry about that if that too hasn't been rebuilt yet. And from just seeing the rims and what I think is an aftermarket exhaust, I'm assuming it's been driven pretty hard, at least while the last owner has had it. For the money, I think you can find a better deal. If you can't find much else, wouldn't hurt to go down and take a look at it in person. Take pictures of the interior and engine bay and post them on the board. Drive it and see if it boosts okay, take notice of how the transmission shifts, and generally get a feel for the car. Don't get too excited about driving it though, you may over look something major. Good luck.

thanks for the insight. i've been trying to get ahold of the guy. sadly as far as prices go, you can't find them for much cheaper then this unless they got high km's or are imported from japan

No, it's not a fact that it will go at 80k miles. It could go at less than 70k miles or even more than 100k miles. My point was that it's still a fairly high mileage vehicle, at least to me, ymmv.

i always thought 100k km (60k miles) was relatively low, especially given the age of these vehicles. but yea, still need to check it outbefore i can make any kind of decision, i'll let you guys know once i see it.
