What do you guys think about RB intake duct?

It costs $95 and apparently it is a good bang for the buck. Anyone using it? What do you think? I'm planning on getting it and running it with a KnN drop in and downpipe with n1 exhaust...stock ecu

I Installed it cause I wanted to use the stock air filter, but it still draws air from the intercooler duct. I added three two inch ducts to the bottom of the stock air box like on the world of thunder site. Would be happier if the RB had its own separate air source.

Yea that is the main drawback with the RB airduct, that it draws air from the IC. It's probably better to do the poor man's CAI.

Works very well for me. Yes it pulls air from the intercooler, but so does the stock setup. It's only a problem at high rpm and low speed where not enough air is coming through the nose.

I've been running nearly 3 years with this setup without any issues. Just don't install it with silicone or you won't be able to do maintenance on the intake or intercooler.

BTW - I had to put on the RB intercooler straps after the RB intake since I started getting boost spikes of 13+ psi. I would do both at the same time.

Of course if you want a larger intercooler you'll have to ditch the stock air box anyway.

I had the RB duct on my car. With that and a down pipe, i ran a 13.4@105, dyno'd 234rwhp. (5?) Over all i was very happy with it, but i bought a Spyfish ic kit, (large smic) and there wasn't enough room for my duct, so i ened up putting a m2 unit in. To be honest, i noticed no hp gain over the m2 vs the RB unit. But, I also had a large hose going to the bottom of the stock air box though. If anyone is interested, i might be interested in selling it, along with a k&n drop in filter.

If you are going to realy modify your car. (All the bolt-ons), i would get something that eliminates the stock air box. But if you are looking for just more power, without tons of hassle, and don't want spend lots of money, and are'nt going do all the bolt-ons, i would buy it again. CJ
