well i was forced to do an AST elimination after a well misplaced foot in the engine bay broke the nipple off my AST. ever since then ive been losing coolant. i ordered a 86 RX7 cap and filler neck but guess what??? i have a filler neck that doesnt have a place to bolt on the new 86 filler neck. has anyone heard of this??? i havent came across any posts pertaing ot it. its a 93 FD.

 

In 94 they changed the fillerneck to a single solid peice. Someone must have swapped yours out at one point. You can't order the old style either. So I just replace my AST with an AL one.

 

damnit, thats what i was afraid of. well it looks like ill have to order a damn AST. thanx for the info i searched but found nothing.
